Jason P. Braidwood, Vice President, Acquisitions and Investments

Mr. Braidwood joined The Koman Group in 2008. Concentrating on strategic investments in new product types and markets, Mr. Braidwood’s contributions include deal origination, market development, underwriting and financing.

Prior to joining The Koman Group, Mr. Braidwood was Vice President of private equity fund Strength Property Partners. Based in Birmingham, Michigan, Strength specializes in urban real estate development investments throughout the greater Midwest. Mr. Braidwood also served as Chief Financial Officer for Connektiv Companies, an urban development firm specializing in mixed use brownfield projects, and was Financial Associate for Royal Oak, Michigan-based Milestone Realty Services. Milestone specializes in trade union pension fund asset management.

Throughout careers in private equity, development and asset management, Mr. Braidwood developed or managed more than 1,000 residential/assisted-living units and two million square feet of office, retail and logistics space. He also arranged $75 million in financing and secured more than $10 million in tax credit equity for multiple environmentally-challenged mixed use urban initiatives.
